Trevon Grimes is one of the nation’s top wide receiver recruits, and a member of Ohio State’s recruiting Class of 2017. He tore the ACL in his left knee during his St. Thomas Aquinas squad’s double overtime loss at Bishop Gorman, which is quarterbacked by fellow Ohio State commit Tate Martell.

Apparently Grimes’ recovery pace is as remarkable as his physical skills. The senior posted a video to Twitter Wednesday showcasing himself leg pressing light weight in a gym, noting that the workout was coming less than a month after his surgery.
Yes, the weight is light, but it’s still weight, and it’s being processed smoothly just three weeks after Grimes’ surgery. That’s impressive progress. Luckily for Ohio State fans, Grimes has months ahead before he suits up to run out in the horseshoe. For now, he’s focused on more progress, no matter how incremental it needs to come.
