How about this for an encore?
Just a night after dropping 56 points, LiAngelo Ball went off again—in a bigger way. The younger brother of current UCLA star Lonzo Ball—who was named the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Player of the Year last season—LiAngelo buried 13 threes en route to 72 points in No. 10 Chino Hills’ 128-108 victory against Rancho Christian.
The younger Ball, who’s also headed to UCLA, set a school record for points in a game. Oh, and his brothers didn’t slouch last night, either. LaMelo, a sophomore at Chino Hills, poured in 31 points.
If you’re scoring at home, that’s 103 points—between two brothers.
Meanwhile, Lonzo dealt out a freshman-record 13 assists in UCLA’s 98-56 win against UC-Riverside.
Next for Chino Hills is Foothills Christian, led by yet another UCLA-bound star, Jaylen Hands.
