Here’s a wild one, from a game that only a handful of people saw live.
From a championship game in a youth league in Connecticut, as sent in to Bob’s Blitz, comes this wild, improbable game-winning buzzer beater. In the final match up of the season from a league in West Haven, this unnamed fellow got the ball well above the top of the key, dribbled to the right and then launched up a deep three with just one arm.
The shot soared through, handing the Bulls a victory over the Spurs (no, not those Bulls or Spurs). We have no idea if this proud youngster will continue playing basketball or not, but he’ll always have at least one memorable game winner to think back on.
