Don’t try this at home, folks.
In an all-time “no, no, no — yes!” play, Woodrow Wilson senior Justin Cain fumbled when he was initially hit on a punt return, scrambled to recover the ball, spun out of four defenders, scampered up the sidelines — thanks in part to a vicious block — and spun through another pack of would-be Kimball tacklers in Friday’s Dallas rivalry game.
If that sounds ridiculous, it’s because it was. The result was a 78-yard punt return for a score during which the 6-foot, 170-pound wide receiver escaped the clutches of all 11 opponents. And the blocking was almost as good as the return.
He wasn’t done there, either. Cain added six catches for 94 yards and another touchdown in Wilson’s 42-13 victory.
This Cain was more than able. (I’ll see myself out.)
