There were plenty of highlights on the fields at The Opening over the weekend, but one of the best quick clips came when someone got the bright idea to put the four athletes from Detroit in a photo booth together.

As Tweeted out by top wide receiver prospect Donovan Peoples-Jones, the quartet of Peoples-Jones, Ambry Thomas, Donovan Johnson, and Jaylen Kelly-Powell all got together and put up a stirring if physically loose rendition of the Blade Dance, a Detroit-area staple. You can see the “highlight” above. If you want to see what the dance they’re doing is supposed to look like, check out the hip hop .GIF below.

Lack of proper form or not, it was a terrific testament to see four of Michigan’s finest athletes all uniting to pay homage to their city across the country. Here’s hoping all four have strong, healthy seasons ahead, perhaps even the kinds that might put them in the same place together for another Blade Dance in the future.
