In the aftermath of a Little League in Pleasanton, Calif., posting what might be the most perfect sign ever for obnoxious sports parents, we thought we’d add to the conversation with the interview above with Jim Delaney by Tampa TV station WFLA.

Delaney is the director of recruiting for Recruit Look, a company that helps high school athletes get noticed by colleges.

“Parents just need to be fans in the stands talking with the coaches, supporting them and not talking about the sport very much,” he says. “Let them initiate the conversation.”
