Brookwood girls basketball coach Kareem Ward is a heck of an athlete. Don’t believe us? Well, just check out this post-practice dunk session in Alabama.

Those are some serious, serious hops. Serious hops. Ward even started his move with a slick pivot turnaround before accelerating toward the hoop.

You may see better dunks this year, but probably not many from coaches rather than players.

Of course, Ward isn’t just a regular coach. The man once known as “Air Bama” became a basketball coach when his playing days were allegedly behind him. And they are, except when he gets the hankering for a brief throwback cameo.

If only the rest of us could peek in on Brookwood practices, we might get a treat like this more often.
