Ladies and gentlemen, meet the very embodiment of determination.
During a Tennessee football game between Huntingdon and Collinwood, the Huntingdon senior Zach Dodson was handed the ball in his team’s 55-14 rout of Collinwood. He cut out to the left like a flash, shot upfield and eventually crossed back though the middle of the field, where he picked up defensive back Jeremiah Tidwell.
The term “picked up” is hardly a random term here. As the case may be, Dodson was latched on to by Tidwell via the jersey, with Dodson dragging his defender for a full 10 yards before finally dropping him on a 60+-yard touchdown run.
The un was just part of Dodson’s impressive 132-yard, two TD performance. Still, it was his laundry room touchdown that is sure to remain etched in the memories of Huntingdon fans for the remainder of the season, and perhaps quite awhile after that.
