With temperatures lingering in the 90s, or even around 100, schools in Texas are turning to the extension of practices that are usually reserved to the heat of summer training camps.
As reported by the Dallas Morning News, the Grand Prairie fire department made a surprise appearance at a recent South Grand Prairie football practice. The result was a gaggle of vert exited teens rushing out and prancing beneath the spray of a water cannon.
The gesture was very well appreciated by South Grand Prairie players who had spent the afternoon sweating absolute buckets while chasing the dream.
That dream of a championship is still alive for South Grand Prarie, which capped one particular practice with a cool, refreshing shower courtesy of the good folks at the Grand Prairie Fire Department.
