Four quarterbacks emerged from the Nike Opening Regional on Sunday with Elite 11 invitations, the most thus far from a single site.
The quarterback MVP at the event was Jack Sears from San Clemente, Calif., the top uncommitted pro style quarterback in the Class of 2017.
Sears visited Cal over the weekend and will visit Washington on Monday, he told our partners at Scout.com. He also has been to USC and UCLA and has a summer trip planned for Texas A&M.
Also receiving invitiations:
- Lefty Tua Tagovailoa from St. Louis in Honolulu, who recently committed to Alabama.
- Dylan McCaffery from Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, Colo.), a Michigan commit who many consider to be the top pro style QB in this class. McCaffery is the son of former NFL wide receiver Ed and brother of Stanford Heisman Trophy finalist Christian.
- Jake Heaner from Monte Vists (Danville, Calif.) is uncommitted and one of the top passers in Northern California.
The next round is June 3-5 in the Los Angeles area.
