Josh Myers stands 6-foot-6 and 306 pounds. He has one more season at Miamisburg, after which he’ll be expected to move right in and have an impact at Ohio State. If nothing else, we can all rest assured that he has the strength to do so already.
That’s Myers cleaning more than 135 pounds … one-handed. The weighted feat was captured by Bleacher Report shortly after Myers had also set the national mark for top SPARQ score for an offensive lineman, per 247 Sports.
Will Myers’ strength transfer into skill at the next level? That’s to be determined, but one thing is certain: There is a copious amount of sheer, brute strength to go around.
