Waxahachie wide receiver Jalen Reagor is an explosive four-star wide receiver for Jon Kitna’s Waxahachie squad outside of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. An Oklahoma commit, he has the ability to turn a game on its head in an instant, as he showed in Waxahachie’s narrow 40-37 victory against a favored Highland Park squad.
Reagor had six catches for 191 yards and three touchdowns in the second half alone, according to the Dallas Morning News. None were more remarkable than the one above, where he extended a screen play after retreating back more than 10 yards, then reversed field and chased up the sideline for a jaw-dropping 73-yard touchdown.
“Big time players make big time plays sometimes and we made them tonight,” Kitna told the Daily News. “It was fun to watch, frustrating at times and exhilarating at others.”
There’s no question who was providing the exhilirating moments, and probably most of the enjoyable ones, too.
