Occasionally a shot goes in that’s so wild even players and fans can’t even really believe it. That’s not too surprising. But a referee?
Incredibly, that was the case in Iowa, where GMG High guard Brayden Peterson dribbled himself into a bad position, then launched an almost unthinkable shot from behind the backboard during a game against Cedar Valley Christian. As noted by MaxPreps, the result was the least-likely swish you’ll see all season, as confirmed not only b Peterson’s euphoria, but by the referee’s stunned reaction.
When you stun the guys who have to be objective, that’s really saying something. The bucket was just one big shot that helped pace GMG, in Garwin, to a 58-35 rout. Needless to say, it was the most memorable one.
