The Virginia men’s basketball team is playing for a spot in the Final Four on Sunday in Chicago.
And while that is today’s No. 1 priority, the Cavaliers will have plenty to look forward to for next year with the addition of Kyle Guy.
Guy, a 6-3 combo guard from Lawrence Central (Indianapolis) will be in Chicago on Sunday as he arrives in town for the start of the festivities surrounding the McDonald’s All American Game. The players are scheduled to visit a Ronald McDonald’s House in Chicago on Sunday afternoon and then visit the historic Chicago Theatre, site of Monday’s Powerade JamFest events.
Guy is the 11th University of Virginia player to be named a McDonald’s All American and the first in eight years. He also was named the Gatorade Indiana State Player of the Year.
