We’ve reached the point of public phenomena with Shaquille O’Neal’s son, Shareef O’Neal. Anytime he does anything, it’s a story. That includes workout sessions, as you can see above.
On Wednesday, the (slightly) mini Shaq posted video highlights from one of his recent workout sessions. The highlights include footage of O’Neal dunking scoring an acrobatic (albeit unguarded) reverse layup and stroking a number of treys and deep outside jumpers.

In fact, upon closer inspection, those deep jumpers are almost certainly the most impressive highlights authored by the teen in this video. The shots show that the younger O’Neal could develop a Kevin Durant styled game for a big man, though he’s so fundamentally sound inside it will be hard for those who get the privilege to move him around the lineup to identify the one best place for him to see action.
In the meantime, O’Neal is clearly going to keep grinding, apparently even letting the rest of the world know as he does.
