VIDEO: Sophomore Dontarius James' dunk destroys defender, rim

This may be the first you’ve heard of Dontarius James, but something tells me it won’t the the last.

The Andrew Jackson High (Kershaw, S.C.) sophomore wing posterized some poor soul from Lewisburg (Richburg, S.C.) during a 75-49 victory on Tuesday night. The defender attempts to draw a charge — and he probably deserved to get one — but James kept climbing until he punished the rim. I assume the referee was in a state of shock that prevented him from blowing the whistle.

James finished with 18 points, 14 rebounds and a pair of blocks, pushing his averages to 20.7 points, 13.1 boards and 2.9 blocks a mere 10 games into his sophomore campaign. He put up similarly ridiculous numbers last season, so yeah, expect to hear a whole lot more from James in the future.
