They call tough crossovers ankle breakers, but rarely is that a literal threat. It may have been Friday at the Nike EYBL Peach Jam during a game New York Rens game.
Jordan Nwora, a shifty small forward from Buffalo who now competes or Vermont Academy, was competing for the Rens in a Friday pool matchup when he completely bamboozled a defender. How bad was it? Bad enough that the defender in question was so crossed up he tripped over himself and offered up an authentic grimace as he tumbled to the floor.
We don’t know that he was hurt in any serious or meaningful way — there’s no reason to believe he definitely was — but we also don’t know that he wasn’t. If that was any of we normal human beings, we definitely would have suffered an ankle or knee injury.
The point is that Jordan Nwora has an absolutely filthy crossover which might be as impressive as any other move at The Opening. If he isn’t as highly recruited as some of the other primo names in North Augusta, S.C., Nwora still has much of the talent. If you didn’t know before, now you know.
