Waggener quarterback Larry Harper passed for 213 yards and five touchdowns in a 38-0 victory over Atherton and for his achievements was voted the winner of The Courier-Journal Metro Louisville Athlete of the Week Award presented by Norton Sports Health.
Last week’s other nominees were Trinity golf’s Evan Bone, Presentation volleyball’s Peyton McClinton and Bullitt East football’s Hunter Perdue.
The Metro Louisville and Southern Indiana Athlete of the Week Awards are part of The Courier-Journal Sports Awards program presented by Norton Sports Health.
