You have to give credit to Nancy Mulkey.
The nation’s tallest girls basketball player at 6-9, Mulkey allowed herself to be jumped over — twice — by Josh Jackson during the POWERADE JamFest on Monday night at the Chicago Theatre during McDonald’s All American Game week.
The Oklahoma-bound Mulkey was facing the basket and Jackson came down the lane and leaped over her on the first attempt, but he missed the dunk. He then somehow convinced her to let him do it again, this time jamming the ball through and hanging by an arm that was through the rim.
Mulkey, from Cypress Woods High in the Houston area, looked a bit worried — both times — especially as Jackson’s legs flew by her head, which she covered with both arms.
