Carson Coleman is a starting pitcher for Lexington Catholic, but when he isn’t on the mound he suits up as a middle infielder. He showcased why he’s been trusted with that spot on a play in a game against Louisville Male.
That’s Coleman making a stop of a line drive right back up the box, all while falling on his back. He then scooped up the ball and made a clean throw to first to get the runner in the clear highlight of a doubleheader between the Kentucky powerhouse programs.
Coleman is a Cincinnati baseball commit who will be expected to contribute for the Bearcats shortly after arriving on campus in the fall. Clearly he still has some things to do on a high school baseball diamond before he gets there.
