What’s better than a long range buzzer-beater to win a game? A dunk to win a game … in overtime.

That’s precisely what unfolded on Tuesday night, when Webb City edged past conference rival Ozark 65-63 in overtime. The victory was sealed with a dunk on an inbounds play with just seconds remaining, when Webb City center Preston Ellis somehow lost his defender and threw down a slam just an instant before the buzzer of the extra period.

You can see Ellis’ game-winning dunk above.

The real question is how a 6-foot-8 center like Ellis could completely lose a defender in the paint with just seconds remaining. How is it possible? Seriously?

We may never know, but Webb City fans will be awfully glad that they did.
