The regular season is in the books.
Below, you can find all of the recaps from matches I received results from on Monday. I’ll be spending all day today crunching numbers on mock seeds for the Section 1 tournament to give you all an idea of what the brackets could look like. As of 8:52 a.m., I’m missing final records from 31 teams. Fortunately, some will be easy to track down; some that won’t be as easy are also teams that either won’t qualify for the postseason or will have a high double-digit seed with no chance of a deep run.
Since I usually try to have fun with my Snapchat stories whenever I make them, follow along at @zacchio_lohud for an inside look behind the madness of number crunching from my kitchen table. There will be pens, there will be paper, and there will be tea. Oh yes, lots and lots of tea.
As usual, my weekly Facebook Live chat will run at 8 p.m. tonight at facebook.com/mzacchio, so please feel free to add or “follow” my account so that you get a notification when it’s live. This week’s episode will be almost entirely devoted to the Section 1 tournament and the mock seeds I calculate by tonight.
