Casey Jackson, Merritt Island wrestling
Jackson went 5-0 at the Will Nutter Duals hosted by Merritt Island over the weekend. He was named the tournament MVP. His season record is 12-1.
Tyler Keller, MCC boys soccer
Keller scored four goals and assisted on the fifth on Friday as Melbourne Central Catholic defeated Astronaut 5-2.
Lapresha Stanley, Rockledge girls basketball
Stanley led Rockledge to three wins last week, amassing 75 points and 32 rebounds. On Monday, she had 20 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals in a 43-40 win over Palm Bay. On Thursday, she had 36 points, including 10 3-pointers, with 9 rebounds, an assist and 3 steals. She closed out the week Friday with 19 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists and 7 steals in a 48-29 win over Titusville.
Jayden Jackson, Melbourne High boys basketball
Jackson helped Melbourne win three games last week. On Tuesday, he had 22 points in a 65-54 win over Celebration. On Thursday he had 16 points in a 67-53 win over Harmony. And Friday he had 20 points in a 74-55 win over Eau Gallie.
Lexy Denaburg, Merritt Island girls soccer
Denaburg helped Merritt Island win two games last week. In an 8-0 shutout of Cocoa on Monday, she had a goal and three assists. In a 6-0 win over Heritage on Wednesday, she scored two goals with an assist.
Zach Beagle, Cocoa football
Beagle, a linebacker, made nine tackles as the Cocoa defense shut down Bolles for a 31-17 Class 4A state championship win on Thursday. Beagle finished the season with 57 tackles.
