Garrett Ellington, Edgewood boys basketball
Ellington has three double-doubles this season, two coming last week. On Tuesday, he scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in an 83-50 win over Odyssey Charter School. On Thursday, he had 16 points and 12 rebounds in a 54-44 win over Cocoa Beach.
Kaitlyn Jensen, Viera High girls basketball
Jensen had 44 points, 31 rebounds and 6 blocks in three victories last week. On Monday, she had 12 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks in a 44-26 win over Space Coast. On Wednesday, she had 14 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks in a 45-6 win over Merritt Island. On Thursday, she had 18 points, 14 rebounds and 1 block in a 50-30 win over Liberty.
Aimee Vance, Merritt Island High girls soccer
Vance had six goals and two assists in three victories last week. On Monday, she had 2 goals and an assist in a an 8-0 win over Astronaut. On Wednesday, she had two goals and an assist in a 7-0 win over Cocoa Beach. On Friday, she had two goals in a 7-0 win over Eau Gallie.
Jake Geyer, Titusville boys soccer
Geyer scored two goals Tuesday in a 5-1 win over Cocoa Beach. He scored another goal on Thursday in a 4-0 win over Space Coast.
Kolin Marsh, Satellite wrestling
Marsh won both 138-pound matches on Thursday by pin. He pinned Malik Belvin of Cocoa in 5:51 and Gavin Glover of Viera in 14 seconds.
