It may have been Senior Night at DeSoto (Texas), but a junior stole the show.

Running back Kelan Walker was unstoppable as No. 7 DeSoto remained undefeated, dominating Nimitz (Irving, Texas) by a 68-0 score.

Walker ran for a staggering 283 yards and six touchdowns on 21 carries in the first half alone! He finished with the same totals, not getting a carry after halftime with the Eagles holding a 48-0 lead.

DeSoto quarterback Courtney Douglas, playing in place of TCU commit Shawn Robinson, went 10-for-13 for 164 yards and a touchdown. He also ran nine times for 66 yards for the Eagles, who have beaten opponents this fall by an average of 33.4 points a game.

DeSoto (9-0) finished with 33 first downs to just two for Nimitz (2-7), and out-gained the Vikings 693-52. Nimitz did not have a single passing yard.

Thanks in large part to three early touchdown runs from Walker, DeSoto had a 27-0 lead after the first quarter. Douglas hit Sam Hunter for an 83-yard TD strike to close out the opening frame. Walker raced for three more TDs in the second quarter, including a 51-yard jaunt.

Jordan Allen added a 35-yard touchdown run in the third, and Shane Williams had a 3-yard TD plunge. A 35-yard TD connection between backup quarterback Zyon Walton and Le’Vontae Shenault closed out the DeSoto scoring.

Christian Gonzalez booted eight extra points in the convincing win.

Next up, DeSoto visits South Grand Prairie on Nov. 3.
