WAYNESBORO – In a match that can only classified as “tight,” Waynesboro’s boys tennis pulled out a 5-4 victory over Wilson Memorial on Thursday in nonconference action.
The Little Giants won four of the six singles matches, but only by a combined score of 55-46, and got a 10-6 win from Daniel Brooks and Sam Pereles at third doubles to clinch the match. The Green Hornets won first and second doubles by scores of 11-10 (7-5) and 11-9, respectively.
