Waynesboro, Fort earn first-team All-C29 football spots

Waynesboro had three first-team selections and Fort Defiance had one on the All-Conference 29 football team, which was released Tuesday.

Making the first team for the Little Giants were Jadaciss Williams (defensive back), Daniel Everidge (offensive line) and Dequiondre Clark (punt returner).

Dakota Morris (offensive line) was the Indians’ lone first-teamer.

Clark, a junior, also earned three second-team spots — all-purpose player on offense and linebacker and all-purpose on defense. Also making the second team from Waynesboro were Marendon Jones (running back) and Philip Monterrozo (defensive back).

Morris (defensive end) and teammate Zach Boyers (defensive line) were Fort’s second-team choices.

Earning honorable mention for Waynesboro were Everidge and Corbin Aleshire (defensive line), Jones (running back), Jaylen Simmons (offensive line), while the Indians’ Zach Boyers was an honorable-mention offensive lineman.
