It’s the Week 5 Kentucky HS football preview with the C-J’s Jason Frakes and Chris White looking at this week’s monster games in the Louisville area.

DOSS (1-2) AT BUTLER (2-2)

* Kickoff: 7 p.m.

* Storyline: Bears have won 13 straight in series.

* Doss: The Dragons were off last week after falling at Pleasure Ridge Park 45-7 on Sept. 2. After shutting out Jeffersontown to open the season, Doss has allowed 79 combined points in losses to South Oldham and PRP. Senior running back Hamilton Wilson (41 carries, 313 yards, three touchdowns) and junior quarterback Terez Traynor (36 carries, 242 yards, four TDs) lead the rushing attack.

* Butler: The Bears committed four turnovers and managed just 60 rushing yards in a 27-7 loss at Fern Creek last week. Senior quarterback Blake Showalter completed 12 of 18 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown but also was intercepted three times. Butler’s last loss to Doss came in 1996, 14-13.

* The pick: Butler 28-26.
