WARREN CENTRAL 63, LAWRENCE NORTH 21
Zach Summeier completed nine of his 11 passes, but made them count for 245 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Class 6A No. 1 Warriors (6-1, 6-0) to a conference rout over the Wildcats (3-4, 2-3).
Summeier hit Dean Tate on TD passes of 46 yards and 57 yards in a 28-point first quarter, then rounded out his night with a 57-yard scoring strike to David Bell. Anthony Maclin returned a fumble 98 yards for a key first-half TD, more then enough big plays to offset a 274-yard rushing night by Lawrence North, which includes
100-yard games for Elijah Smith and Martell Williams.

BISHOP CHATARD 23, WINTON WOODS 19
Gabe Coleman ran for two second-half touchdowns and led a balanced offensive attack as the Class 3A No. 8 Trojans (3-4) went on the road to beat the Warriors (2-4).
Quarterback Bill Dury hit Max McGinnis for a first-quarter touchdown pass to erase an early 7-0 deficit to Winton Woods, and Ben Schrage added a field goal before the half to give Chatard the momentum it needed. Coleman scored from 9 yards and 11 yards to push the lead to 23-7 before Warriors QB Kenny Mayberry connected on a pair of fourth-quarter TD passes to Cornell Beacham. The last came late in the fourth quarter, but an onside kick try didn’t cover the required distance to be recovered, clinching the win for the Trojans.
