The tournament was held July 1-8 in Emerson, Ga.

Erwin’s Cameron Howell pitched two wins for the Showcase Baseball Academy Marucci team. He had a 1.24 earned-run average and seven strikeouts in 11.1 innings pitched. Six of those innings came in a 2-1 win over Tri-State Arsenal Prime (N.J.).

North Henderson’s Ryan Decker had a 0.00 ERA and a win in his 5.2 innings on the mound. He struck out seven batters. The Knights’ Kyle Decker was 5-for-15 at the plate with two RBIs, four runs scored and a pair of stolen bases.

SBA Marucci, which is based out of Matthews, went 5-1-1 in pool play.
