Yorktown and Roy C. Ketcham fought to a 1-1 tie at Yorktown High Friday but off the field they were united.
Both teams contributed as Yorktown held its first ever game to benefit the no-kill SPCA of Westchester, which is in Briarcliff.
Goods going to pups like Frodo, Baby Ruth, Bear Bear, Cookie and Ducky and to kitties, including Minnie Mouse, Goldie, Archie and Evelyn, included food, toys, blankets and treats.
Both teams scored in the first half. Kelsey McDonnell had the Cornhusker goal and Derney Cailin scored for Ketcham, assisted by Julia McDaniels.
Yorktown goalie Olivia Sanchez had 13 saves.
Kristin DeSousa stopped six shots for Ketcham.
Panas 3, Hendrick Hudson 0: Nicole Schauffel scored two first-half goals and Lisa Guzzo scored in the second half.
Taylor Pisani had an assist.
Jasmine Rosa had four saves for Panas.
Carole Sinacore had four saves and Andrea Concalves had three saves for Hen Hud.
Panas also had a 7-5 penalty corner advantage.
The contest was Hen Hud’s Pink Game, promoting breast cancer awareness. Members of the Sailor junior varsity and modified teams helped sell baked goods with money designated to the fight against cancer. The game also marked Hen Hud teacher appreciation in which players selected the teachers who’ve had the biggest influence on them.
Suffern 1, North Rockland 0: Sophie Jay scored and goalie Alyssa Sanchez turned away nine shots for the shutout win.
Suffern is 8-4.
Croton 4, Briarcliff 1: Teagan Burke had two goals and an assist.
Loretta Violante and Arielle Vergara also scored
Hayley McCormick and Maggie Dymes had assists for Croton.
Maggie Lunch scored Briarcliff’s goal.
Both Briarcliff’s Jess Garlasco and Croton’s Maddy Camillieri had seven saves.
Arlington 2, Carmel 0: Elaina Nacinovich had 24 saves for Carmel.
Horace Greeley 3, Ossining 0: Pride goalie Kylee Texiera had 15 saves but Greeley’s Catherine Brennan, Lauren Rosh and Lauren Neff scored.
Clarkstown North 4, White Plains 1: Kristin McGrade scored twice and Emily Cahilll and Maureen Donegan also found the back of the net as the Rams increased their record to 6-4-1.
Somers 2, Brewster 0: Jess Monaco had a nine-save shutout as the Tuskers raised their season mark to 11-2-1.
Taylor Turchick and Allison Colavito each had a goal and an assist and Katie Campbell also had an assist.
Bear goalies Antoinette Guerriero and Samantha Anfuso both had two saves.
Hackley 2, Masters 1: Masters goalie Saskia Sackner-Bernstein was both busy and good, recording 20 saves. But she couldn’t prevent goals by Ellie Arnold and Catherine Meyer.
Alex Meyer had an assist for the Hornets.
Samantha Rusoff scored off assists from Sophia Gutfreund and Elana Salzman for Masters.
Jenny Canoni had one save for Hackley.
North Salem 3, Lourdes 0: The Tigers improved to 8-3-2 as Hailey Starace, Analisa Posa and Emma Cindrich scored.
Starace and Ally O’Sullivan had assists.

Holy Child 7, Horace Mann 1: Molly Mackie had a resume-enhancing game, scoring five times and adding an assist as the Gryphons increased their season mark to 6-3.
Lila Pfohl scored on a breakaway and Martina Garate-Griot also scored off a Mackie assist.
Martina Garate-Griot had three assists and Agustina Garate-Griot had one assist.
Juli Morara scored unassisted for Horace Mann.
Horace Mann keeper Bliss Beyer had 10 saves.
Holy Child’s Charlotte Wertimer stopped four shots.
