USA TODAY High School Sports is presenting the third annual American Family Insurance Preseason ALL-USA Girls Lacrosse Teams as selected by Casey Vock of 3d Rising.

Players are selected based on on-field accomplishments and strength of opposition during the high school season.

Zoe Belodeau (right) School: St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School (Alexandria, Va.) Year: Senior College: Penn Belodeau had a monstrous junior campaign in helping the Saints to the VISAA championship with 81 goals and 65 assists, leading the team in both categories and total points. Hannah Cermack (left) School: Ridgewood High School (Ridgewood, N.J.) Year: Senior College: Boston College Cermack had 42 goals and 63 assists, along with 43 groundballs, to help Ridgewood achieve a 20-3 record and a trip to the Tournament of Champions. She will be expected to lead the way for a Maroons program that has weapons to make another run in 2017.Photo: Dave Reuben NJSportsMedia

McKenzie Harris School: Brighton High School (Rochester, N.Y.) Class: Senior College: Syracuse One of the most naturally talented playmakers in the class – a player who can bring a new level of excitement to the game. An early decision to Syracuse, the U-19 Iroquois Nationals captain has the ability to wow with her stick skills and is a wildly creative shooter. Photo: Harris family

Catie May School: McDonogh School (Owings Mills, Md.) Year: Senior College: Maryland May has been a key part of the Eagles offense and the record-setting dynasty her entire career and she will be looked to as one of the leaders this season. Taylor McDaniels School: Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) Year: Senior College: North Carolina An impressive athlete with strength and agility, McDaniels is a force for the Falcons. She’s considered one of the top prospects in the country playing for one of the very best teams and is poised for a big senior season. Photo: John Strohsacker, LaxPhotos

Andie Aldave School: McDonogh School (Owings Mills, Md.) Year: Senior College: Notre Dame Aldave is a strong, determined and talented player. She can do it all, finishing with 43 goals and 34 assists last season, including five points in the IAAM “A” Conference championship. Shelby Harrison School: St. Mary’s (Annapolis, Md.) Year: Senior College: Johns Hopkins Harrison is a do-it-all midfielder who has led St. Mary’s in a variety of roles, including handling the draw control, where she won 84 attempts last season. She also scored 58 goals to lead the Saints offensively, adding five assists and 14 caused turnovers. Photo: Lifetouch Photography

Maddie Jenner School: McDonogh School (Owings Mills, Md.) Year: Junior College: Duke Jenner is a tall, athletic presence in the middle of the field, where she uses her reach and stick skills to dominate the draw control more so than any player in the Mid-Atlantic region. She collected an impressive 182 draw controls, 23 goals and 14 assists, to help McDonogh to its seventh straight perfect season last season. Photo: John Strohsacker, LaxPhotos

Chloe Jones School: The Lawrenceville School (Lawrence Township, N.J.) Year: Senior College: Virginia A member of the U.S. Women’s U19 roster in 2015, Jones is a standout multi-sport athlete and a major impact player on the field for Lawrenceville. Jamie Ortega School: Middle Country Central School District (Centereach, N.Y.) Class: Senior College: North Carolina Ortega led all point-producers on Long Island with 82 goals and 46 assists in 2016. She helped the Wolverines to the sectional semifinals and a 16-2 finish against a daunting Suffolk County Class A slate. Lauren Bracey School: Centennial High School (Ellicott City, Md.) Class: Senior College: Maryland One of the top defensive players in Maryland, Bracey is an outstanding athlete and can match feet with the best offensive players. She can fly out to the ball, and can get it off the ground to get up the field very quickly to spark transition. Photo: Victor Bracey

Lizzy Doherty School: Oak Knoll (Summit, N.J.) Class: Senior College: Notre Dame Doherty is an outstanding one-on-one defender with grit and she’s been a key factor in Oak Knoll’s rise to prominence. She’s a four-year starter and become a backbone of the Royals team. Photo: Oak Knoll Staff

Mollie Miller School: St.Stephen’s & St. Agnes School (Alexandria, Va.) Class: Senior College: Georgetown Miller is arguably the top defensive specialist in the Mid-Atlantic. She’s an athletic presence on the back end and is proven against a long list of the area’s top offensive players. She headlines another strong St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes team this season. Emily Vengilio School: Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) Year: Senior College: Penn State A tough, multi-faceted playmaker on the back end, Vengilio has been a star for Mount Sinai since helping the team win the title two years ago. She can lock down her assignment and is disruptive when sliding in a zone defense. Photo: Mt. Sinai High School

Hannah Van Middelem School: Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) Year: Senior College: Syracuse Middelem returns after guiding the Mustangs to their second consecutive New York State Class C title and along the way earned praised as one of the top goalies in the nation as a junior.
