VIDEO: Utah team manager with Down syndrome has magical senior night

A nice moment from Tuesday in Utah, as Springville girls basketball team manager Taylee Smith, who has Down syndrome, got a chance to start on senior night.

And she made the most of it.

As you can see in the video from Hudl, Taylee received the pass and coolly swished a short jumper.

“She was excited,” Springville coach Camie Oakey told the Provo (Utah) Daily Herald. “To give her her uniform yesterday (Monday), I don’t think she’s taken it off since then. She wore it to school (on Tuesday).”
