USA TODAY High School Sports is proud to announce the 2018 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Delaware Football Team. Players were selected based on their athletic achievements from the 2018-19 season.

COACH OF THE YEAR: John Wells, Sussex Central (Georgetown)

In his 23rd season, Wells guided his team—four times a state runner-up—to his first state championship. The Golden Knights (12-1) lost their season opener and then won 12 straight, including a 33-7 rout of Salesianum in the Division 1 state final.



A three-time All-State performer, Fry carried the Cavaliers to the Div. 1 semifinals. The senior completed 127 of 206 passes for 1,763 yards and 19 touchdowns during the regular season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Brock Keeler, Woodbridge (Greenwood)

The hard-hitting senior linebacker helped lead the Raiders (11-2) to the Div. 2 state championship. A four-year starter, Keeler recorded 95 tackles, 20 of them for loss, and caused three fumbles.
