USA TODAY High School Sports is proud to announce the 2018 American Family Insurance ALL-USA New Jersey Football Team. Players were selected based on their athletic achievements from the 2018-19 season.

COACH OF THE YEAR: Frank DeLano, Haddonfield

The 17-year head coach has led the Bulldawgs to 17 consecutive victories, including back-to-back South Jersey Group 2 championships. He also guided Haddonfield to a 17-7 victory over Hillside in the inaugural South/Central Group 2 bowl game.


OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Jada Byers, St. Joseph (Hammonton)

The junior speedster had a breakout season in 2018, leading the Wildcats to the Non-Public Group 2 championship. He rushed for 1,738 yards and 29 touchdowns on 214 carries, while grabbing 15 passes for 353 yards and four more scores.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Antonio Alfano, Colonia (Woodbridge)

The Alabama commit fought off constant double teams to show why he was the state’s top senior recruit. Alfano piled up 79 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 17 quarterback hurries, 10 sacks and six forced fumbles.
