James Wiseman, the nation’s No. 1 overall class of 2019 recruit, took his official visit to Memphis over the weekend.
Sunday night, the Memphis East High School star got a visit from a pair of Memphis legends.
Wiseman shared a photo on social media Sunday night with Sacramento Kings forward and longtime Memphis Grizzlies player Zach Randolph, as well as Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo.
Randolph played in Memphis for eight seasons and made two NBA All-Star teams. Moneybagg Yo performed at Memphis Madness Oct. 4.
The high school senior also shared a photo of himself Sunday with Penny Hardaway and the Tigers’ coaching staff.
Memphis received a commitment from top-50 class of 2019 forward D.J. Jeffries while Wiseman was on his official visit.
Wiseman will reportedly make his college decision around the end of the year. College basketball’s early signing period is Nov. 14-21.
The prized recruit took visits to Memphis, Kentucky, Florida State, Vanderbilt, and Kansas this fall.
