2017-18 record: 40-3

Timberview has retained most of its depth this offseason after winning the second of back-to-back state championships.
Five Wolves graduated last year, but the only starter was Lauryn Thompson, who went to play at Virginia Commonwealth. The team returns strong contributors including guard Kennedy Wilson and forwards Destiny Jackson and N’Denasija Collins. The group remains one of the deeper teams in the country.
Timberview will work to continue its legacy of a historically strong team. The Wolves have sent 11 athletes to play D-1 college basketball since 2013. Among these are newly-signed Harlem Globetrotter Lili Thompson and North Texas senior Terriell Bradley, who is the older sister of current Timberview guard Mikayla Hutchinson.
With nine players at least 5-foot-8, Timberview has the height and length to keep up with the best teams in the country. Already on an 8-0 start as of Saturday, the team is gearing up to chase a third straight title.
