11. St. Thomas Aquinas
Location: Fort Lauderdale
17-18 Record: 12-3
Final Super 25 Rank: Not Ranked

Why them: The Raiders made news last season by not winning the state title for a change. Don’t expect that to become a thing as Aquinas has a nice mix of new and old talent this season.

The top returnees on offense are senior RBs Daniel Carter (954 yards, 17 TDs rushing) and Nigel White (439 yards rushing) and OL Vincent Murphy, who has committed to South Carolina.

The quarterback competition will be between returning senior Curt Casteel and Mariano Valenti, a transfer from Brother Rice (Birmingham Hills, Mich.).

The defense is solid, especially at linebacker, where they have senior Anthony Solomon (77 tackles), a Miami commit, junior Derek Wingo, who played some quarterback last season and seniors Avery Huff and Jahmar Brown.

The secondary is anchored by seniors Jaden Davis and Jordan Battle. DE Braylen Ingraham, a transfer from Dillard (Fort Lauderdale), will have an early impact.
