12. Bishop Gorman
Location: Las Vegas
17-18 Record: 13-2
Final Super 25 Rank: 10

Why them: The Gaels have won nine consecutive state titles. They also have an out-of-state schedule that includes Centennial (Peoria, Ariz.), Orem, Utah, De La Salle (Concord, Calif.) and Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), so they will be tested early.

Bishop Gorman’s quarterback battle hasn’t been decided, and Donovan Smith and Micah Bowens II are each capable of being the starter next season.

On the defensive line, DE-TE Falcon Kaumatule and his cousin, DE Treven Ma’ae, are getting major offers.

Cornerback Kyu Kelly (three INTs) is also drawing big-time recruiting attention.

The offensive line is solid with seniors Beau Taylor, Cade Briggs and Donovan Moore all returning and senior RB Amod Cianelli (997 yards, 19 TDs rushing) should be the beneficiary of that experience.
