No. 6 Duncanville (Texas) vs. No. 14 St. John’s (Washington, D.C.)
When: 9/14, 7 p.m. ET
Analysis: Duncanville has allowed three points in both games this season. While some argue Texas high school football is the best around, the teams they beat are not as good as Washington D.C. powerhouse St. John’s.
After losing just one game last season, St. John’s is in the midst of arguably the toughest out-of-region schedule in the nation. The Cadets are eager to move past last week’s loss to then-No. 14 St. Joseph’s Prep, but to do that, they’ll have to take down Duncanville, which may be the best in Texas. This game is pivotal, as the Cadets face IMG Academy and Mater Dei the following two weeks. Losing the first two games of that four-game stretch is not ideal.
