Mark Andrews turned his time at Oklahoma into an NFL job with the Baltimore Ravens.

Spencer Rattler hopes to soon be running Lincoln Riley’s offense in Norman.

And now Noah Nelson has committed to the Oklahoma Sooners.

The 6-foot-8, 295-pound Williams Field (Gilbert, Ariz.) left tackle is among the top offensive lineman recruits in the country for the 2020 class.

Nelson is rated as the No. 11 prospect in the state in the 2020 class by the Arizona Republic. The 2020 class is regarded as perhaps the greatest in Arizona prep football history.

“This is great for Noah, Williams Field and the state of Arizona,” Williams Field assistant coach Kelvin Hunter said. “It is our job as coaches to help our young athletes realize their dreams of playing college football. Noah now has a chance to live out his.

“Oklahoma is a great university and has a great tradition of developing their athletes. They came in last year and pulled QB Spencer Rattler and are now getting a good offensive lineman in Noah Nelson.”

He had offers from Michigan, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, Washington State, Colorado, USC and Purdue.

Rattler, a standout quarterback for four years at Pinnacle (Phoenix), will be competing for the starting job once he gets to Oklahoma next month.

Andrews, a tight end, who was¬†The Republic‘s Football Player of the Year as a junior, left Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, Ariz.) in 2014 as the state’s No. 1 prospect and prospered with Baker Mayfield throwing to him.
