Cincinnati basketball’s future continues to take shape.

Gabe and Mason Madsen, twin-brother class of 2020 recruits from Mayo Senior (Rochester, Minnesota), committed to play Bearcats’ coach John Brannen via an announce on Twitter during Labor Day weekend.

Gabe Madsen is a 6-foot-6, 180-pound three-star small forward who reportedly had offers from Marquette, Minnesota, Northwestern, Iowa and others.

Mason Madsen is a 6-foot-3, 175-pound guard who reportedly held offers from Bradley, Colorado State and Furman.

With his 0.9177 rating from 247Sports, Gabe Madsen is the highest-rated verbal commit for the Bearcats in 2020.

The Madsen brothers join three-star point guard Mike Saunders (0.8958 247Sports rating) as Bearcats verbal pledges in 2020.

UC currently has the second-best 2020 class among AAC teams in the 247Sports team rankings behind Houston.
